Smile Don't you love it when...

Your child can do one little action and put you in the best mood?

DD was being incredibly uncooperative getting ready for playgroup this morning. As DP dropped us off, DD was blowing him kisses. I said "so where's mummy's kiss?" and she ran off as soon as we got into playgroup. About 10 minutes later she comes up to me, gives me the biggest grin and starts making kiss noises and gave me the BIGGEST, SLOPPIEST kiss! It was one of those moments where even though she had been giving me hell all morning I just had to grin and get out of my grumpy mood.

What do your kids do to brighten your day? (apart from exist! )

Cute, they can be very good at making you forget that they have been driving you crazy all morning arnt they

DH and I always sit for a while after DD has gone to bed and talk about all the funny, awesome, amazing things DD has done in the day!!! Its fun, especially as we get to fill each other in on stuff the other missed out on.

DD and i were dipping slices of apple in yoghurt this morning and i dripped a big blob of yoghurt down my tee-shirt on on to my pregnant tummy. DD burst out laughing and gave me such a look and said the the funniest 'mum your so silly' voice " Ive never seen a lady drop yoghurt down her t-shirt like that before''....i had to laugh!!
And DH was messing around with her today and she did something funny and DH told her she was so funny....she turned to him and said ''NO Daddy...you and mummy are funnier''
And when i kiss her all over her face and she wipes them off and says ''MUMMY....not slipperly slopperly kisses'' then giggles and shows me how to kiss properly! she just makes me smile ALLLLLLL day long! LOVE it.

If I'm mad with DS he has this really cute tone and says to me "aww, mumsy you not be angry" and it melts my heart and the little bugga knows it too! So cute though

dd really thinks she is in charge.

this week i've had "good girl mummy" when i've done a poo and "you're doing great mummy" when buttering my own toast.

dp gets "you be careful dadda" when climbing ladders and "good catch dadda"

lost count of the number of times she's said "you're my best friend" to either of us.
