"Your baby can read" Program

I am wondering if anyone else has this program?

Not sure if anyone else has even seen this. LOL!

They have been doing some infomercials on it lately. I caught a glimpse one night but MIL had seen it a few times.

Anyway MIL bought DD the program as a christmas present. It comes with dvds, books, flashcards that slide and is designed to teach your child to read. You can start at any age.

Now I am not a parent who wants to force my child to do anything before they can and I know she will learn to read at school (I am a teacher and have taught many kids to read) but am thinking it wont hurt to let her watch them and she loves looking at books and cards.

She has also been very slow with her speech and I will be interested to know if this helps her develo the ability to say more words.

I just watched one while she is sleeping and they are fantastic. She is going to love it.
The dvd allows the child to see the word with an arrow pointing underneath it moving across as the child hears the word being said, then the child can participate by doing an action that is shown in the DVD so that they understand meaning.

If anyone has any feedback from using it, I would love to know and if not I will let you all know how it goes
