Hammock to cot transition help please!

My 7 month old has been sleeping in the hammock since birth and settling well in it generally. She has never developed any self settling techniques unfortunately and tends to wake up within a sleep cycle if she falls asleep anywhere else other than the hammock.

Problem is that she is a strong little one, crawling and pulling up on furniture... and she has managed to sit up in the hammock and fell out today

So, needless to say, no more hammock.

Problem is she screams and gets completely worked up if she is put in the cot. If I manage to get her to sleep in arms or on breast I can sometimes transfer her but she generally stays asleep for 20-30 minutes in the cot... then screams again.

When DD1 was a baby I transferred her to the cot at 8 months without a hitch, here is the bed and there she slept. I am at a bit of a loss with this one.

Anyone with a hellish hammock transition story want to offer me some help/hope?

My little ont transitioned from hammock to our bed. She isn't so keen on the cot. Still working on it, so hoping someone else has some ideas for both of us.

If only she could sleep in the hammock forever...
