SPD and Wii Fit - advice wanted

I'm now 5 months post birth and still have SPD to the extent I can't run or do much exercise. I'm doing clinical pilates which is good so long as I don't do certain exercises. Anyway, it's doing my head in as I can't shift the mummy tummy and with comfort eating I'm stacking on the weight. Apart from improving my diet I want to get back into more exercise.

We're looking at buying a Wii Fit today and I thought before we spend all that money I'd get advice. Has anyone who's had SPD used it? Will it help?

    TIA

We have the Wii fit and I was using it before I got pregnant, however not so much anymore.

I would say the yoga stuff would be pretty gentle, just don't do anything that hurts I suppose!

I found it pretty hard to do some of the stuff with spd, do you know anyone who has one you can try before you buy?

Don't know anyone with one. Decided not to buy today. I want more feedback on it.

Pooey. I need cardio! Maybe i should just sit on the fitball and wave my arms around really fast

I asked my physio about wii fit and she said xbox is better. I can do some stuff and just make sure i'm not pushing through the pain.

MG- i'll look at swimming but i'm so self conscious i hate getting into a swimsuit. Which is a catch 22 so i might just have to suck it up.

Where about's in Melb are you? I'll go with you! I'm no skinny minny. And my physio and PT are always banging on at me to get in the water for my back.
