Mid-morning, or later than you'd usually have breakfast.

I guess it's all individual interpretation isn't it?

The other day we were asked to breakfast for 10.30am! I thought that was more a brunch time....

But have just been invited to brunch at 11.30/12.....which I would think is closer to lunch.....

Doesn't really matter, but thought it would be interesting to see what others think

For me it would be anywhere between about 9.30 and 11..only because DD & I are normally done with breakfast by no later than 8. For me it's probably a 'morning tea' time, only you have breakfasty food instead

I think the time depends on whether you have children or not BC (before children) brunch was around 11-11.30am. AC (after children) is was about 10-10.30am. Really, it is probably any time after 9am and before midday.

Brunch is one of my absolute favourite things! I would say now with kids around 10:30am or so, that way you have a big enough meal not to have to worry about lunch.

I'd invite someone to brunch for 10am and be eating no later than 10:30. So same as if i was going out to brunch, arrive around 10am and then eat after the ordering/cooking time so around 10:30am.
