Can anyone "see" where they are

I seem to have misplaced my Nans sewing scissors. I remember Dh dug them out and was going to use them but I took them off him and put them away. Only problem is the place where I thought I had put them isn't right.

They are solid metal from end to end, the handles are a chipped black coated stuff.

They are the best scissors and I have NO IDEA where they could be. All the usual places have been checked.

I feel like they are in a drawer but under / between some papers. But that just may be where mine are ..........

LOL - now I also saw dark wooden drawers (but again, thought I may just be seeing mine )

I have 2 antique dressing table/tallboys one is in an almost ebony finish the other I aldready checked ........ *goes off to check the oldest of drawers*
