DF and I are considering getting a Costco membership this year, and we're wondering how worthwhile it will be.
We'd use it mainly for pantry items, (tomatoes, pasta, non perishable items), toilet stuff, nappies etc. So not really fresh fruit and veg, as we shop at markets. On a day to day basis, is it good for your family? We are both big budgeters, so buying in bulk really appeals to us.
Your feedback and advice about Costco membership would be very much appreciated laides
we're member but we didnt pay for it (i think the inlaws did) nope not worth it for us, tbh you can get most thing on special from the supermarket! you reallllllly need to know your prices on product. the pizzas are delish and we will go back, but only becuase we have a membership
We are a Costco family, and love it! We go whenever we need nappies, so prob once every 2 months. We go mostly for the Nappies and Wipes, which I think are super cheap. For a box of 190 of the Huggies crawler nappies it costs $58. Then we also buy our toiletries like soap, shampoo and deodarant which are in bulk packs so also good value.
For DH and I , we just love the going to Costco for the fun of it too. And like Olive says, the pizza is yummo! The cafeteria has such yummy treats and the prices are hard to go past.
You can go and have a look, and decide whether its for you or not. Oh also as Olive ssaid, know your prices!
