Where can I find this book?

DS loves trains, and books and train books etc. We went to the library the other day and he walked straight up to the shelf and said "There's the book I've been looking for!" lol We weren't even looking for anything in particular!

The book is called "Crossing" and it's by Philip Booth. Eventually, it's going to have to go back to the library, so I've been looking for somewhere to buy it. Angus and Robertson (both in store and online) and dymocks online don't have it. The Book Depository UK and US don't have it, and I can't find it anywhere!

Any ideas on where I could go to get it? He's going to be so disappointed when it's gotta be returned!

Looks like you can get a used copy on the US amazon site babe! Just did a search and it came up - but on further inspection it says it's unavailable! How annoying.

    Let me have another look.

You can get it on the UK amazon site. There are 8 copies used and new.

I'll PM you the link xxxx

Its worth asking in the book shops. Sometimes they can order them in.

I couldn't work out the borders link (Thank you Kate!) and the Amazon UK website have some (thank you MummaSue, but apparently don't ship to Australia.

But!! I've contacted my friend in the UK to see if I can ship it to her, and then on to me.

    Fingers crossed!

    Thank you everyone!

I just looked at Abe Books, they seem to have heaps of different sellers. I will PM you the link.

I have also had success with Biblioz dot com for hard to find out of print books.

try booko dot com dot au, type in the title you want and it will tell if it is available, where and how much in aus dollars. Though it is showing it can only find that book in 2 places and one doesn't have it in stock. Worth a try though

Do a search on booko (au site), it will list all the sites that sell it and how much it is.

I just had a look on our work database (I work in a bookshop) and it is definiately out of print so bookshops won't be able to order it in for you. There is a couple of copies listed on ebay - (overseas listings), if you use ebay at all?
