    Scaring baby's hiccups away?

This might be a silly question, but is it possible that babies' hiccups can be scared away like ours can?

When I woke up this morning, Cookie very obviously had a bad case of the hiccups. As I lay there giggling at them, I suddenly sneezed. Then nothing. S/he suddenly didn't have hiccups any more and I wondered if it was my fault...

So did I scare them away, or was it just time for the hiccups to stop? In any case, it was really cute

naaawwww thats cute, maybe the distractioin of the sneeze stopped them.
monkey gets so frustrated when he has the hiccups, im sure my insides are blue from the amount of kicking he does, might try a loud noise next time he gets them
