I found a job that dh could to at Vic roads but I'm worried that he'd be excluded because he has 10 points against his license??
What do you think, or has anyone worked for them who may know?
It doesn't say as much just they require a full license and that part of the job may include license testing.
But it's based at a callcentre and the main focus is customer service Whig he is good at
they can't exclude him based on demerits on his license if it's not a position that requires him to be driving at all
if it was a position that had him on the road, driving vehicles, then yes, they could - but for a call centre position, it shouldn't
DH's brother worked for Vic roads for 30 years before he passed (and his Dad for Vic roads/country roads board before that) - just asked DH and he has said no way would they be able to discount him on that
Not sure if its the same in Vic, but in SA after incurring demerit points they are taken off after 3 years - but I doubt that him having demerit points would make any difference to his application hun!
Yes, they are taken off after 3 years it was just cos it was Vic toads a d involved licensing etc.
Well I guess he will just have to apply and see how it goes
