Hi everyone. I think many of you belly belly members are familiar with en-liven. I take the fast tract liquid rather than the en liven, as I can't take gluten containing foods which is in the in-liven.
Im just wondering - does anyone know - the strains of yeast and bacteria in the miessence products - are they beneficial for babies? (as in - if I am taking this orally and Im under the impression that it will be going through to my bubs via the breastmilk). Ive read that lactobacillus rhamnosus and lactobacillus infantis are the beneficial bacteria that babies need, but these are obvioulsy not the strains of bacteria that are in the miessence products. And are there any strains in there that aren't beneficial for babies? as in the yeasts (e.g saccharomyses cerevesiae and boulardii). - i have heard of a case of overgrowth of one of these particular yeasts (cant remember) in a person, but cant remember where or when I was reading this.
Ive been prescribed other probiotics by my naturopath (a metagenics one for me) and the baby biotics one for my bubs - but I prefer the idea of the miessence brand if its going to be beneficial for both me and bubs because i like how the miessence bacteria are derived from organic vegetables, as opposed to the other brands which can be derived from human or animal sources.. i dont tend to have much joy in consulting my naturopath on such issues as my naturopath is not usually very open to exploring or looking into other options that i suggest. so just wondering if anyone on here has any thoughts? Thanks..
