    Is this normal?

    Hello,
This is my second pregnancy I am now 18 weeks along but the last few days I have felt like I have been carrying a bowling all between my legs. It seems to be getting worse each day.
I had a terrible first birth & 2 years later I am still very sore and tender from my episotomy (It took 12months to heal) now it aches all the time. I also looked "down there" and much to my horror something is falling out! I went to my OB and he didnt even look at it, he just felt around and said I was fine & that I have terrible damage done to my bladder, bowels and uterus.
My first labour was 18 hours long, my son was posteriora & I was stuck in transition from 11pm till 7am the next morning when they decided to get a dr in so he could deliver my baby with forceps as I wasent making any progress. I was sliced from here to there and my beautiful son was born.
Then my placenta was quickly removed and I haemorrhaged quite severely. I passed out every time they tried to stand me up. I was so weak I could not even life my baby to feed him
To make matters worse I was sent home after 7 days and was so week an sick I didnt know what was wrong with me. 2 visits to the DR and he finally gave me an utrasound to find that I had retained placenta & HUGE blood clots. 12 days later I was back in hospital having a D&C. As I stated before it took me a good 12 months to recover. my Dr knows all of this and he is still insisting I have natural birth instead of a C Section. I am terrified!!! and now all this heavy feeling like i have just given birth is comming back and doesnt seem the slighest bit concerned! Has anyone else experienced any thing similar?
Thanks any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Oh that sounds so scary and uncomfortable (understatement perhaps?!). I'm afraid I don't have and experience, but if I were you I'd be getting a second opinion from someone who has the professionalism and respect to take your concerns seriously. Good luck Hun, hope you get some answers very soon.

    Thanks Santosha
I think my husband and I will go and get a second opinion, We are both very concerned. I don't think I am built for having babies...lol my body seems to small for all of this.

Maybe even see if a midwife can take a peek for you hun? They've seen it all so maybe they might be able to help out or refer you to someone that will? I would be getting it checked for sure even if it only eases your mind.

    HTH!

    Hi Addison

Mate you need to see someone that cares. Find yourself another doctor or a midwife. The doctor you have been seeing needs a good slapping for treating you like that

I agree with Alan too, you shouldn't be feeling like this! You need a dr who cares and understands your wishes.

Thank you all for your support & kind words, I will definitely be getting a new OB. I have just discovered I have started to bleed a little, fingers crossed it's nothing. I did this at 12 weeks too. I will go and see the DR tomorrow first thing.
This pregnancy is so different to my first I wonder if I am having a girl...lol
