pregnancy after tubal ligation???

Just wondering about the possibility of conception after a tubal ligation???

I have 3 gorgeous kids (DD7 DS5 and DD1) and had a tubal ligation performed after the CS birth of DD1. I recall the dr saying that he had burnt and clipped my tubes and that there may still be a very slim chance that I could fall pregnant in the future, but that it would almost certainly end in an ectopic pregnancy.

AF has always been like clockwork (30 day cycle) but now I am seven days late. We live in the sticks and our nearest town is a 40 minute drive away. DH is in town for work today and is going to grab a test, but i'm just a bit worried

I am on medication which is contraindicative for use in pregnancy (category D), but I am worried about ceasing it on the slim chance that I may be utd. I have had really sore breasts and do feel slightly seedy!!

Any ideas???

If the doctor said there is a small chance then it could be possible! Did you take a test?

I'd get the test to ease your mind and then tackle the medication issue. You should also get a appt with your dr ASAP to check it isn't ectopic.

Thanks girls xo... have done a few hpt's which have all been negative. Still no AF though. Dr's app coming up to hopefully get some answers.
