Hair dresser in Perth for curly hair??

    Hi All

I once had a fabulous hairdresser who left to live in the USA in 2007 and I've since been trawling through countless bad haircuts trying to find a good hairdresser for my medium length curly hair.

Does anyone know of a good one - from personal experience or that of a friend? I live in the Swan Valley but I'm prepared to travel.

    TIA

Mine is awesome! I have super thick hair that varies from curly to frizzy depending on the weather! I've been with my hairdresser now for about 7yrs and have followed her for a few salons to the one she's in which she now owns. She's the first and only hairdresser able to cut my hair so I can have a shower and just leave it down! No having to blow dry or iron is straight just to wear it down! WooooHoooo!!

She's in Cannington, opposite Carousel. PM me if you want her details.

Thanks Doodle Bug. I've PMd you.

UsPlus2 - thanks for the offer. Nedlands is probably a tad too far - it would take over an hour to get there so probably not too practical. If I get desperate I'll let you know though!!

I LOVE my hairdresser He's at a salon in Willeton. The owner, who happens to be one of Australia's top colour specialists , had cut my hair for several years but one of his amazing recruits cut it for me on a busy day instead and just blew me away. Both are awesome, amazing hair dressers but the owner is SO busy (has clients fly from interstate to see him!) so he's almost impossible to get in to (new clients that is) and they're trying to share his clients around a bit with the experienced team members. My current hair dresser is still taking new clients though PM if you want the details.

I don't have curly hair but curly hair would be no issues at ALL for them My entire family (on DHs side goes) and our niece, 17 yrs old, had stunning curly hair and they only make it more stunning!

I'll see if I can send you a message...

All sorted, I can post the name of the salon here.

It's 'The Designers' in Willeton. Ask to see David, he works in the upstairs salon. Tell them he was recommended to you

Book in early! He's popular! They work til around 1pm on a Saturday and late on Wednesday nights. David is great! I pay $115 for a colour (semi), cut and style which is an absolute bargain! My hair is short now (just above my shoulders) but they've always been very well priced.
