How long until HCG levels go down? (TMI)

With my first miscarriage my levels were only at like 47, with this one they were at almost 2000. I really do not want to have a D&C as hospitals give me anxiety. I am working on day 4 of bleeding. Its like a normal but heavier period..today I haven't passed any tissue just lots of blood clots. I have already passed ( Ihope) most of the tissue. So how until HCG levels go down from this point? I am getting HCG levels checked this friday and I am REALLY hoping they are low enough that it will be my last blood draw as my arms are completely bruised already from the past HCG tests...
Your stories and answers will help as I am very anxious and nervous and want to make sure I am ok.

I bled for 2 weeks after my mc and then I had another 2 weeks before my levels were back to zero. I mc's naturally so I didnt need a D&C.

I bled for six weeks before I finally had a d&c. Yur hcg levels won't go down until you have passed most of the tissue( sorry tmi ) and my levels took 6 weeks after the d&c to go back to normal... Weird , I think it's usually quicker, but also depends on how far along you were... Huge hugs and sorry again for your loss

I had a natural m/c that completed in one day. The levels were above 6000, but I think they went down pretty quickly. I got my period 3 weeks later. The next cycle after that was completely normal, with ovulation.

I had a missed m/c at 10 weeks. I bled for 2 weeks and nothing was happening, finally I decided to have D&C to speed things along. I do not know how quickly the levels went down after that or what they were, but there was a heartbeat at 6 weeks, so they were probably pretty high. After D&C I bled every 2 weeks for the next 3 months, it took 3 months to get a normal cycle. I guess D&C does not always make things faster.

Then I had an ectopic that was treated with the methotraxate shot, my levels at the time were 2600. My doctors said it will take as long for your levels to go down as your pregnancy lasted, so if you were pregnant 7 weeks it will be 7 weeks for them to go down. I did not belive him, but he was right.

It took me 6 weeks of on-off bleeding before everything was back to normal. (that was the second, natural miscarriage. The first was a missed miscarriage + D&C and that was two weeks of bleeding before everything was back.)

I'm sorry to hear of your loss, i think it took about 4 weeks for my levels to go back to normal after i had passed everything. i bought some cheap internet hpt to test every couple of days until there was no 2nd line
