Having a book clean out to keep my mind occupied....

I've got these teenage aimed books (a handful of kids novels), many unread, from my days at the bookshop. . Happy for them to go, if you are prepared to pay postage. A few of them are proof copies - means sometimes they don't have a nice cover, usually a tan or green plain one, and they can have mistakes in them as they aren't totally edited. Some look just like the finished copy, but they just are missing the barcode. Any questions about any in particular, let me know.

    Wow that's a long list

I would be interested in grabbing a couple but no idea what... any suggestions?

I have a 13yo who loves James Patterson & Matthew Reilly, I have tried expanding his horizons but haven't found anythign else he likes yet. Also a 15yo girl who has a short attention span for reading, and an 8yo boy.

Oh boy Fleur, it hasn't even dented the collection!

15yo girl - maybe the Meg Rosoff "just in case", the Kim Wilkins "Witchsong" and the Rhian Tracey "The bad girls' club". I honestly can't tell you the content though, as I haven't read either, but they seem to sit at that age.

13yo boy - "Eagle Strike" by Anthony Horowitz sits with James Patterson/Matthew Riley but is a little younger. Patterson and Riley are aimed at adults, but I know plenty of teens who have read them and loved them.

8yo boy - I'd probably go with "Pirates eat porridge", "The wish list" and "Artemis Fowl". But again, depends on his reading level - Artemis Fowl may be too hard, but he will grow into it.

All depends on how many you'd like too!
