Question Do you have a Nespresso Machine??

I want one but dont know if I should fork over the $399 that they sell for here.

Do you have one? Do you use it everyday? How much did you pay??

    Thanks!

Ummm we have one, it was a gift.
It's great but the coffees are expensive, $20 for a pack of ten capsules which means if you have only one each everyday they don't last the week

DH loves it but only gets the coffee every now n then. I think the coffee is cheaper off the website, nespresso but you need to buy 50 at a time minimum.

I have one and I love it!!! I have a Delonghi Citiz with the milk frother - we paid about $450 for it but that was nearly a year ago and we got a $50 cashback.

We buy the capsules online from the nespresso website - they are $6.80 for a pack of 10 for the regular ones and $7.80 for a pack of ten for the special ones (we buy the special ones). There are minimum order amounts of lots of 50 per order but if you order 200 capsules at a time, postage is 50% off. A normal order of 200 capsules costs us around $150 and lasts 2 - 3 months. DH also has the same coffee machine at work, so he doesn't drink it as much at home which saves a few pods I think.

I love love love my machine and the coffee is great!

ETA: Also it makes great babycinos for the kids. If you hold the button in on the milk frother, it froths the milk at a cold temp so the kids can have babycino which they LOVE!!!

We have a Latissima, that we picked up as part of an insurance claim after our break in, so we got it really cheap and a cashback offer too.

My DH loves it, but it does get expensive with the pods, so we don't drink it regularly/all day, maybe just one each a day, but that's just what suits our budget. I do like the coffee, but honestly, I don't think it's hot enough. I'm not one to like really hot coffee, but to me I can drink it straight away no worries, and I like my coffee a little hotter than that itms?

Very convenient and fuss free, just wish it was a bit hotter. Have you had a demo of them? Our Myers in the city has a great set up where you can try all the coffees and machines etc

We have the Latissima, just got it for Christmas. So far so good, I am really enjoying the coffee - I only have one a day. Order through the nespresso website, great that you can choose from 16 different coffees dependent on what you like. Thumbs up from me x

    I love my Nesspresso machine!!!!!!!

DH bought it for me for xmas when they first came out so I think ours was about $650 back then. Our pods are only about $4.00 for a pack of 10 and we buy them from myer. I use it almos every day. I have one in the morning and then I normally have a decaf one before bed with bailey's or Kahlua in it

we have one. DH LOVES coffee. He has had numerous coffee machines - all of which he has "loved" and "played" with for a grand total of approx 1 month each time. But the nespresso? Well, he got it for Father's Day... and still uses it around 4 times a day!!!! I think if he could, he'd marry it

Oh I wish we had Myer here. They are building one but it's still a year or two away ...

Nespresso pods are so good because the machine really doesn't need to be cleaned out (with the exception of our milk frother) so the coffee keeps tasting good and never burnt or bitter like in lots of coffee shops where they don't clean the machine often enough. Every 200 coffees though, you are meant to descale it. DH has just bought a descaling kit from Nespresso for ours so I'll let you know if it makes any difference once it gets here

The pod machines are awesome. We have a "DIY" coffee machine but the girl in the store made me a coffee from a Saeco machine with a pod and boy was the coffee nice!!

I probably would have been more likely to buy a Nespresso if George Clooney came with it

We have the Le Cube. I've had it 2-3 weeks & love it. We got it on sale for $349 & then got a $50 cash back offer on it. So it came down to $299.
Because they use pods the coffee is always fresh, the only downside is if you want to buy pods in person you can only go to Nespresso boutiques (both of which are more than 30 min from us) but you can order them online & they will ship to a P.O. box

We have a Le Cube too. Best investment ever! DH will drink 2 a day and I'll have 1-2 (when not pregnant). The coffee is perfect, everytime. That's what I love about it. We paid about $400 2 years ago and we've had our Aeroccino replaced once as it was playing up.

DH and I went to Paris as part of our honeymoon and we discovered that most of the street vendors, who sell baguettes, choc eclairs, pancakes and coffees, had Nespresso machines. And there's a huge Nespresso shop on the Champs Élysées (promise I'm not being pretentious with those accents... The iPhone did it for me!) amongst all the designer boutiques!

Strange but true! Nespresso is huge over there and they love their coffee so they must be ok!

We have the DeLonghi nespresso machine at work so can't really comment on the $ side of things as I didn't pay for the machine and don't pay for the capsules (good boss huh!) but I love the machine and the coffee is YUM!!!
