I need some help!!

I'm on zoloft for my PND and until recently i have started to break out in hives, im not sleeping and ive been having horrible mood swings.

My GP changed my prescription to Lovan and i'm just wondering if there is any chance of any bad side effects going from one AD to another.

Please share any experiences and suggestions.

My doctor has said to cut down to half a zoloft a day for a week then take half of lovan for a week and then one a day.

I'm surprised you don't hafta go a week without any zoloft before starting the lovan, but I've never heard of lovan,. It's not unusual to react badly to AD's, I reacted extremely badly to aropax; it's just a matter of finding the one that works for you

Im not a DR, but I would suggest asking the pharmacist this question ( if you haven't already ) as they are usually incredibly knowledgable and helpful. Also, ring your GP and either leave a msg or make a follow up appt. Weaning off one before starting another sounds sensible to me, but I AM NOT A DR and don't want to give medical advice, only friendly advice
