    printed canvas warped in humidity

I have a big (approx metre tall) printed canvas (from Ikea). With the recent humidity in Melb (yeah, melb!) the supporting strut across the back has swelled & bowed. I'm thinking I just place it face down with something really heavy on the strut to try flatten it out again. Any other ideas? Do you reckon it will go back?

    TIA!

P.S. It's my lounge feature pic, so I really hope it's fixable!

It might be worth a try! As long as you don't think it would cause damage in another way though.

Has the timber already dried, or is it still humid? If it has dried, you'd be best dampening the timber a little before attempting to reshape it as it will be brittle and could snap. Good luck!

Take it to a framer and get it redone maybe?
