Men!
I've logged on to fb today, to see a post from my cousin: "pretty sure I got bitten by a spider yesterday, was up all night vomiting and feel like ***** today". My first response I thought was pretty obvious, has he been to the doc? Of course not!
He says now he's not vomiting anymore so he thinks it's ok, he's just feeling really run down. He's not online anymore and I don't have his number to see if he's ok.
If it is a spider bite that's not a normal reaction right? If it is, and he doesn't get checked out, is it likely to get worse and do him some damage? I'm considering calling his dad to get him to have a go at him lol.

When i was in the emergency dept at my local hospital when i had appendicitis a guy came in who had been bitten by a spider and he went from throwing up to becoming quite gravely ill. He had a seizure and was screaming. It was awful and quite traumatic for himself and his poor girlfriend.
It annoys me how macho men think they need to be! If hes been bitten by a spider and hes had any kind of side effect he should have taken himself to the ED. Hopefully thats why hes not online anymore.

That's exactly what I'm worried about km, if it's gotten worse. I have no idea why none of my family has his number! I think he's staying at his mum's, he's just moved back from Brisbane, but unfortunately I don't really even know her to call. Hopefully he's gotten all better or is at the doctor's
