    REPROMED - Opinions and Doctors!

    Hi Everyone,

I was just after some opinions and personal experiences!

I have been seeing one of the Doctors at Repromed for all of my initial tests and scans etc. We have now been told that IVF (ICSI to be precise) is the only real option for us. I just had a few questions i would love some help on:

    1. Has anyone here used Repromed Adelaide - what were your thoughts?
    2. The Doctor i am currently seeing is listed on their website under 'GP' - even thought she has honoured in Gyn etc. If i asked to see one of the doctors listed under 'Specialist' do you think i would be getting a higher level of experience/expertise from this doctor hence giving myself a better chance at higher level treatment?
    3. Does anyone know the current rough out of pocket expense for an ICSI cycle?
    4. Does anyone know if Repromed offers any form of payment plan or anything?

I have nothing but nice things to say about my current doctor but want to make sure i am giving myself the best possible opportunity!

Thank you all so much for your help!

    Much love,
    K

    Hi Kellijh

I just posted this information on another thread. I am in Melbourne so I dont know anything about Repromed but I imagine the cost is similar...

I am about to start an IVF/ICSI full stim cycle at Melbourne IVF and it I need to pay $8500 before treatment starts (will get about $4000 back from Medicare), then the egg pickup is about $850 at the Epworth Freemasons (or about $400 at the Royal Women's) as well as about $350 for the anaesthetist. THis is not covered by Medicare. The drugs you take you also need to purchase. Not sure how much they are but I am expecting they will be a couple of hundred dollars or so.

My understanding is most clinics are roughly the same.

I have never heard of a clinic having a payment plan other than 50 per cent up front then 50 per cent half way through treatment (ie. two weeks later). Someone else may know more about Repromed though.

    Hope that helps!

    good luck!!!!

    Repromed

    Hi,

I too am looking at Repromed in Adelaide and am wondering if anyone has any information, experience with either Dr. Bruno Radesic or Dr. Mojgan Vatani?

I can take an appointment with Bruno in 2 weeks or Mojgan in 4 weeks. I think I'd be more comfortable with a female Dr. but am feeling so lost.

    Thanks in advance.
