I'm going to try cloth nappies right from the get-go this time (coz I started with sposies with ds, then gradually got to full time just before he turned 1).
I'm just wondering, what night nappy do you put on a newborn / infant? What's even out there?
I found I didn't need a dedicated night nappy until 4months ish because he still woke so often and needed changing anyway.
Genesa FOrge make great night nappies in all sizes and Maz makes smalls too I think.
I didnt use night nappies either until bubs started to sleep longer at night as newborns tend to wake every few hours for a feed you can just use day nappie for a while. For nights we use fitteds and a fleece cover or Maz night nappies. Of a night dd also wears a bigger sized all in one cause her bum it huge
We didn't differentiate until DD was sleeping for a little longer.
At about 4 months we moved to a Baby Beehinds Night Nappy and cover and I swear by them - never had any issues at all (except for that time DH forgot to put a cover on - but that is a whole other story LOL
They need changing so often even overnight, and you will find it is actually often a helpful part of your feeding routine , so we never used one either.
I think the first time we used a nappy with the hope of it going all night was around 4-5 month? And it was a double boosted BumG. Worked perfectly here until she was over 1. I bought a dedicated night nappy at around 9 months, but still only has 3 by the time she was 14 months, so double boosted BumGs were the go most nights here - and they dry quicker! lol
Another one here who used day nappies overnight. Then when they started to sleep through I would put a night nappy on them. Fluffy bubs, gf super nights and widdlewuns were my favourites.
