Best side by side double pram - Mountain buggy or Baby Jogger Double Classic??

    Hi!
I'm looking for a great side by side double pram mainly for going on long walks & think I have narrowed it down to the Mountain Buggy Double or the Baby Jogger Classic Double. Any opinions on either of these please?! As I said it's mainly for walking (predominantly on footpaths but might do a little rough terrain!!) so I'm not too bothered by the width for shops etc. TIA!

I love my baby jogger city mini pram. i am unfamiliar with the classic but the mini is awesome. It's lightweight but durable and compact to put away too. I just saw a pic of the classic and I am pretty sure that would be an awesome pusher. If it's made in the same way as the city mini then it'd be awesome. Mine has clocked up thousands of K's because all I do is walk everywhere (I don't drive). I've never had an issue

Thanks CrazyLady - I was actually looking at the city mini double as well but have read that it's not very good for off road due to the non blow up tyres - is the suspension still good without the blowup tyres?? Thanks!

I have the City Elite single and it's an AWESOME pram I'd imagine the double would be fantastic.

Have you got the measurements of both prams (in particular the width) and found out they fold? How easily? If the quick fold technology applies to the Baby Jogger then that's brilliant. Both Baby Jogger and Mountain Buggy are fantastic prams though.

Not me personally but a friend from mothers group with twins has the Mountain Buggy and the Baby Jogger City Mini. Says the Mountain Buggy is awful and the City Mini is the best pram ever. So easy to fold and steer are her comments.

The city mini wheels are a tad rough for off road but the elite has the foam filled larger tires (no punctures). The elite wheels are also chunkier. i mainly go on paths so the mini is all I need but the elite is awesome too! I've seen one of them being used and they look just as nice to manage.
