    mint

    hi all

what to do with a bunch of mint?

oz farmers direct delivered us a huge bunch this week, and i'm too lazy to search online so i thought i would put this question out to the oracle

the only thing that comes to mind is mojitos (which doesn't really help in my current preggy state - then again, virgin mojitos would go down a treat right now!) or something moroccan.....

any suggestions? (besides getting off my lazy behind and using my brain for a change!)

    thanks ladies!

Punch with tropical juice, ginger beer and mint. Very nice.
Or you could do vietnamese spring rolls (the ones you dip in water). They are good as a herb in that although I would also add some coriander. I usually use salads, hoisin sauce (changs is the best!), marinated tofu, and the herbs. Mmmmm feel like that now.

your own mint sauce to go with a lamb dish? My mum always made her own. Think it was finely chopped mint, vinegar and a bit of sugar. If you google mint sauce, some pretty good recipes come up. Could probably freeze it too in little ice cube trays so you can use it indvidually.

I get a huge jug of water and put some lime and mint in it and keep it in the fridge. Tastes soooooooo good.
