did you test before your 2WW was up??

    just a question....
did you test prior to your 2WW being up??

and...if you did were you using crinone? can it give false positives??

Crinone won't give you a false pos - it's progesterone, isn't it? Only those hcg booster shots might....
I never tested - was too cheap. figured I was having a 'proper' test anyway, so why waste extra money
    Good luck!

i did- but be warned my first one was a good line then the next few days it went lighter and lighter, not good to see, it wasn't a sticky bub - so you don't always get the result you want! But I can't resist, I held out until 9days post transfer at least lol

yes i did test, once I was sure the trigger was out of my system...I was on crinone, it can't give false positives. I tested the day before my period was due, and three days before my BT and tested positive.
In the past, in a natural FET I also tested early, the equivalent of 11dpo and tested positive.
wishing you the best of luck!!

There's no way crinone will give a false positive. The only way you may get a false positive is testing too close to your trigger, or if you are having HCG booster shots. Crinone and pessaries just introduce progesterone into the body, not HCG.

First transfer - tested. Got an EXTREMELY faint positive... Was a positive result, but missed miscarriage just before 9 weeks.

Next two transfers - no testing. Also very early miscarriages.

Final transfer - tested, got a positive. But it was the night before my blood test and FIL had invited himself to stay the next night (threatened to sleep in the car when we said it wasn't convenient, so no choice) and I wanted to be prepared.

Yes, I tested prior (10 'DPO') and the progesterone from my booster was still in my system & gave me a positive result (ended up not pg)

    I always do - can't help myself!
The one time I've actually had a positive was after a fet. It showed at 7 days past transfer. It was pretty faint though, I didn't get a strong positive until about 12 days past.

I tested 2 days before my blood test and got a faint line. It ended up being a chemical pregnancy and was heartbreaking, I think next time I will just wait it out.

    Goodluck hun!

Its a hard one katones, i have always tested before my BT apart from one time when i actually was preg, i had started to bleed so i thought there was no way i was preg but i was. Im not sure if i will test this time but knowing me i prob will because westmead give you two urine tests to do but not for like 3 weeks i think that is way too long to wait. But do what makes you happy xx

My first IVF/ICSI I didnt test and I got a BFN.

My natural FET I tested eight days after a three day transfer and got a faint positive...but I knew I was pregnant by that stage just cause I have very clear symptoms when i am preg.

I got a good HCG at my BT but at my 6wk4day scan there was no heartbeat....same at 7wk4day...

Will I test again early...probally because I still would have known I was preg but I will only test if i "feel' pregnant.

I tested early on my 3rd FET (resulted in DD) and again with FET 4 (BFN) and FET 5(BFP)- I didn't think I was allowed with the other ones lol.

With both successful pregnancies I got a positive 6 days post transfer of day 3's. So when I got my BT results I was already prepared especially the BFN. I always had a gut feeling with both pregnancies they would be ok as I got a BFP a week before my BT's.

Good luck and I hope you have a sticky one in there...

Absolutely! I have had two fresh transfers (worked the second time) and both times I tested. I just could not bare the thought of practically a stranger telling me the result by phone when I was alone. I prefered to test with my partner close by to greet me with a much-needed hug (one way or the other).
