reallly! I also heard Sarah Jessica wants to play the lead because she thinks she'll be able to portray a teenage Carrie. Hmm not sure whether that would work?

I've read it, its a good enough read, but I did find it differed from the TV series, so I was always comparing the 2 itms?! I havent read the original SATC books, only ever watched the show. But def worth a read if you have the time

Oh and I could imagine the SJP from Footloose playing the lead role, but not the SJP we know and love today, lol!

Ive read it, I liked it! Except the way they portray how Carrie meets Samantha in the movies/tv show does NOT actually mesh with how she apparently meets her in The Carrie Diaries.
