    IVF at Repromed Adelaide?

    Hi Ladies,

We are starting our IVF hopefully this year and i was wondering if anyone has gone with Repromed in Adelaide and if they were any good etc??

So far we have been seeing Dr Bedson and she is awesome!

    Thanks

I found them excellent - we conceived our DS with their help and I cant speak highly enough of them. I know some people find them a bit too clinical, but lets be honest that can be said of the medical world in general, they have a job to do after all. (I'd rather they be highly skilled in successful IVF treatments myself). In our experience though they were warm and supportive, and explained everything very clearly to us.

It's been a while for us though, our first (and only) cycle was back in Aug/Sept 2008, we had an ICSI cycle and were lucky enough to get pregnant first cycle after a few dramas (we only had ONE successfully fertilised embryo - but thats all it took!!). We saw Drs Whittle, Davies and another who's name escapes me (woman, european), anyway I think repromed are great. We used their Mawson Lakes clinic for bloods and scans etc as it was closer to home that Dulwich

We hope to return for baby#2 later this year

I wish you the same luck we had miss kris

I don't have an personal experience but a friend used Repromed for their first, and with their second has been trying Fertility SA, as they were quite a bit cheaper, the run out of St Andrews I think, it may be worth a look into the pricing differences because it was quite significant I believe. Where as previously Repromed was the only option.

I wish you all the very best and I hope that your TTC journey through IVF is short and successful xxoo

Beema is spot on - Fertility SA is a bit cheaper (some of the Repro Dr's have 'defected' to there). It depends on the treatment though, the savings CAN add up to quite a few hundred dollars. For us though, we are staying with repromed as ....
    a. they know our medical history and issues, and
    b. as they have a northern clinic which is 5 mins from home and 2 mins from work the petrol and travelling time we would save for the numerous visits would be a factor too

A girlfriend I work with had her first with repro and is currently pregnant with her second with Fertility SA and was very happy with them

Both have quite extensive websites with all the costs outlined on them, so definitely worth a bit of research

Hi Guys - we too are seeing Dr Bedson @ repromed! What a lovely lady - everyone we've been in touch with there has been so supportive!

We are about to start Clomid and if no success, we will be starting IVF in May/June! xo

    Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with either Dr. Bruno Radesic or Dr. Mojgan Vatani at Repromed in Adelaide?

I'm feeling a little lost and am just at the beginning of this journey.
