Angry Please tell me that 8kg is a good achievement - no one seems to have noticed!

Ok, so I have lost weight FOR ME - not others but its getting me down that I have gone down a clothes size and almost another, have lost 20 cms all over and 8kgs in the last few months through sheer torture - the gym 5-6 dys a week sometimes twice a day and have been drinking water - not juice and trying to eat healthily.

I'm just sad that only a couple people have asked if I have lost weight. I have PCOS and losing this weight has been HARD - seriously, I was ready to give up after not even losing ONE KG after 3 months straight at the gym, but I stuck with it and finally my body has kicked into gear.

    Just a vent post really

Weight loss is a funny thing. I have had people comment that I have lost weight, when I haven't. I have had one person not notice 20+kg loss!! How they did not notice is beyond me, as I had others not recognise me due to it.

If you have not already bought some new clothes, then now might be a good time. Also a new hair cut and maybe a good eyebrow shaping will help get people to notice.

Congrats - you have done a wonderful job

Thanks gals - can always count on BB to cheer me up! I have tried for years to shift the weight thats crept on and after I had my daughter I lost the baby weight very quickly but then put it all back on again quickly. I had resigned myself to the fact the PCOS just meant I had no control over my body - but I took charge and new I had to do something as I want to be healthy for my daughter, not to mention be ok with pictures being taken of her and I and it would be lovely if I didn't need to use fertility drugs next time round!

You girls have given me the motivation to lose the next 8kgs - that is my new goal now, If I can do that I would be able to fit in my wedding dress from 5 years ago!

Hey, I have lost 25kg since giving birth, but 20kg has been in the last few months. I have had One person comment..ONE! I was getting upset too, but I think that it really motivated me to keep going! And I got there!
So well done! You'll feel better about yourself! Buy something sexy to wear!

8kg is bloody awesome!!! Well done. I agree with the new clothes. I lost 6kg at the end of last year and was still wearing my maternity clothes. Have recently been shopping for new normal clothes and only now people have noticed! Keep going with your efforts, you are doing great. xx
