A TMI cycle vent! WDYT?? (LONG)

Well..... I am so frustrated.. Although I'm not TTC I have still been charting because I will be again one day.. All was good. I had a short LP but vitex lengthened it to 12 days, so I was O' around day 22 or 23 and getting AF day anywhere from day 33 to 35..

Come November around the twins b'day I got depressed and thought what's the point so I went off vitex and stopped charting.. (Plus I was drinking heaps which affects temps anyway) So I started spotting around day 22 for about 3 to 5 days.. It was spotting.. Brown, light and no red blood.. I was spotting while I was still charting so it was ok, weird, bt charting still showed O.. Anyway, 1st month not charting and I suddenly realise it's been 36 days.. I HAD DTD around O, but didn't really think PG, but on day 39 still no AF so I did a test which was negative..

Day 44 AF arrives.. Normal 5 day period.. All is fine.. NOW though I am on day 49 still no AF... I had the same spotting around day 23 for 3 days but as I wasn't charting not sure if I O'd or not.. I am so peeved.. WHAT IS GOING ON????? The only thing I can think of is that the spotting was a period????? I'm not stressed or anything so I don't think that's why AF has gone AWOL..

Anyway, I have started charting again and have been back on vitex for 4 days to see if that helps.. I am going to see an OB/Gyn on Friday, because even though I am not DTD with anyone, I'm not getting any younger and I want this sorted..

Just when I thought my cycles had sorted out... Grrrrr.....

Hi hun! My advice would be to go back on vitex and start charting again like you have already, so you can see what your body is up to. I have a pretty regular cycle, but a GF of mine was one day saying how someone told her to take vitex as her cycles were all over the place and it really regulated her cycle. I can imagine how frasturating it must be..GL on Friday and I'm sure you'll get to the bottom of it and your cycles will be back to normal

Thanks Beata.. Before the twins they were 42 days but fairly regular.. I don't care how long they are, just as long as I ovulate and they are regular..
