Anyone know of a (preferably female) pro choice GP in Perth NOR? I went to my GP today and was not expecting the reaction I got when I said I was not planning to vaccinate my bubba. I got a bunch of scare tactics and she even tried to put the idea into my husband's head that he could take me to court (as my husband and I currently having disagreements about vaccines). My current GP has totally ruined the rapport we had..
I want to be able to go to a GP that supports my own abilities to research the facts for myself, presents true information and research, and respects my decisions! I do have another Dr that I go to for health maintenance and will be taking my baby to as well who is great like this, but can only go every 6mths as he is always very busy (so not for just quick check ups about things).
I had a pretty cruisy doc in Gwelup who seemed pretty cruisy. I vaccinated my kids though so not sure her reaction on not doing it, but she is really nice and down to earth. PM me if you want more specific details
Thanks Yules. Im not sure as I thought my GP was pretty cruisy and down to earth, until she found out I didnt want to vaccinate.. and then she changed her tune pretty fast. I have been going to her a while too so pretty disappointing. Will wait and see if anyone else comes up with any suggestions, but might PM you if noone else does. Thanks.
I have been given the names of a couple (both practicing GPs) in Perth who are anti-vaccines. I was told they have been researching them privately for years after a series of adverse reactions led them to investigate further.
Just give me some time to dig up the details - I have filed it away somewhere.
I'll be baaaaackk!!
:-)
PS - Or, you can just do what I do and take your little ones to a Naturopath instead of a GP - mine have never seen a GP so I don't have to put up with any nonsense.
Ok - this is what I have written down...
James Kho (I did a bit of googling and his name appeared at a Medical centre in Ocean Reef)
and- Jingman (can't find anything for Jingman but I didn't spend much time looking - I believe they are a married couple so she is probably his wife and may not be working at the moment).
Hope this helps! Let me know how you go.
:-)

Tinkerbelle - did you have any luck finding a GP. Would also love to find a pro-choice GP in Perth. I have tried to PM you but your box is full.
Thanks
