AF but temp still above coverline - what does it mean?

    Hi all,

Ok, so I had one instance of spotting yesterday afternoon and a temp dip to just above my coverline. Today I have woken up to medium AF but my temp has gone up .10 from yesterday instead of down. I know I definitely O'd this month because I had a cd21 BT and all of my levels were perfect.

Can someone please tell me what's going on? Is this what happens in an early miscarriage?

Did you definitely take your temp before you got up? You hadnt got up already, moved around and 'warmed' up a little?

The alarm went off, I reached over to my bedside table and got the thermometer, same as every other morning. Its bizarre.

It's normal for temps to be erratic during AF. Sorry she is here Soph .

Thankyou I'm ok. Still getting the hang of charting and knowing what is normal. I look at my 3yo DD and know that she was meant to be because I couldnt have chosen a more special little person if it was possible. If or when I concieve again it will be for the same reason.

Someone around here once said to me "Perfection takes Time" it was like a mantra in our TTC thread

Very true! Or in the case of my DD perfection was an unplanned fluke, lol.

Can I ask a silly question- how do I know what my coverline temp is?

You would only know if youre entering your temps into software like fertilityfriend.com. It automatically plots it for you once you have 3 raised temps after O

I think all my temps went up a little the day after I got AF. Temps can be abit crazy when AF is visiting. Try not to look too much into it sweety, you will drive yourself nuts

You know what, I think ive decided that now I have vitamins that have regulated my cycle and really distinguishable CM im not going to temp anymore. I think the stress of obsessing over it probably did more harm than good. Maybe thats the key to why I was so lucky with DD.

Ah ok. I just started a fertility friend account but am not using a basal thermometer but a regular digital one.
