Either take a nap too or a good book to read in bed, or see if she will sleep in the stroller. With DD1 when we went to Thailand I napped or sat on the balcony and read. She slept in the stroller a few times when we were out and about in shopping centres.

or will I just have to nap too? Ive emailed the hotel requesting a more spacious room but given the conference is at the hotel, they'll be pretty heavily booked.

I find that once DD is asleep there can generally be a herd of cattle running through the room and she doesn't wake, so you may find you are able to move around the room without a problem while she's asleep. How does she fall asleep? Does she sleep in a darkened room? Will she take sleeps in her pram?

good excuse for a nap huh
