My DD does this too. So every few hours i wake up and go check on her and have to move her down. Ive had to put padding in otherwise her arms hang out..
Any ideas about what can be done to help DD stop getting to the top of the cot at night and waking herself up?
I've padded the top of the cot, but she still wakes up and is all squished against the padding.
Is that what a safe-T sleep wrap is for? I would still like her to be able to switch sides though, and I don't know if the safe-T sleep wrap allows bub to turn from side to side?

Yep DD does this too. I get up every few hrs to pee anyways - so I just pull her back down the cot and tuck her in again. I must say that I hear her hit her head on the top of the cot now and she doesnt wake up at all... maybe she is used to it now!
Yeah we have that issue too...mostly he sleep through it all now and wakes up in the morning with the standard "prison bar" imprint on his face.....not sure on a solution we just had to ride it out with him and move him if he cried...we do have an air wrap bumper around the cot that softens if a tad for him though
If it didn't wake her up, I wouldn't mind! You see when she wakes up, I have to breastfeed her back to sleep. And that can take up to 1 hour each time, up to 3 times a night...
I guess if I do wake up myself, I can always go in and move her down....
Have decided to go buy a Safe-T sleep wrap tomorrow - hopefully it will keep her in place so she stops waking up.... I can't handle getting only 4 hours sleep in a row anymore....
All mine have done this and the only thing that stopped it was moving them into a toddler bed!
Drives me insane...
