So if you're anything like me, you'll turn to music (among other things) in times of crisis for comfort. Lately I've been listening to some really beautiful songs that have helped me through with my m/c and I was wondering if others do the same and would like to share the songs they have found most comforting. Often they are sad and make me cry, but that's all a part of the healing process.
I'll start the ball rolling...
Fix You - Coldplay
Show Me - Audrey Assad
Carry Me - Audrey Assad
Ice on Her Lashes - Brooke Fraser
Spring - John Butler (recommended by another BBer)
I Go To Sleep - Sia
I Cried For You - Katie Melua
Run In The Night - Jars of Clay
Fly - Jars of Clay
Angel - Sarah McLaughlin
Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton
I will never forget going in for one of my D&C's and "In the arms of the angels" was on in the waiting room It's a powerful song at the best of times let alone on that day at that particular time.
Just thought of another song that is powerful (for me anyway) Last day on Earth by kate miller heidke, an amazing song!

I love Enya, when I had my first m/c there was a show called providence on at the time and well this girl on the show had a m/c and they played Enya in the background. China Roses.
I ended up getting her Cd, her voice is haunting and beautiful and alot of her songs struck a chord with me even after more m/c's.
Yet China Roses, was the very first song I dedicated to my first angel bub.
Gosh, I had hundreds. Float On by Modest Mouse was one, Zero by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs was another, Love Lost by the Temper Trap.
I had a lot of them on my birth songs compilation that was in my labour bag. It was awesome, because it reminded me of how much I wanted this, and filled me with strength and power to keep going,
