There's probably a million threads on this- sorry if I'm repeating...
I've been getting a lot of comments lately on how much DS sucks his fingers. He's 5 months old and has sucked them since before he was born. Every US showed him with his hand in his mouth! I'm just interested in people's experiences. He would never take a dummy, so it's fingers for him, which I'm fine with, but some people seem to have quite a vocal problem about... is it actually a problem? Not that I can do anything about it anyway... I mean, he's 5 months old
you know what, its only a problem if YOU see it as one!
as you said he is 5 months old! if he was 15 years old, well then it would be understandable for them to have a problem with it.
he is your baby not theres, if its not a prob for you, well tell them to but out! after all he is a baby ffs!!!
DD was a finger sucker that quickly become an avid thumb sucker. I just get in first now and joke that yes I know the family dentist will love us when she's older, but I'm sure she won't be sucking her thumb when she's 16. Quite often shuts people up. It's amazing what others feel they need to comment on isn't it?
