DS is 3 and a half and he has 2 friends. One is called Eddie and 'Eddie' hangs around the house and plays outside with him. He also comes shopping with us a lot. I actually had 2 guys follow us around the supermarket once listening to DS and 'Eddie' chat and me have to answer 'Eddie's' questions, absolutely killing themselves laughing.
He also has 'Pussy Cat' who comes in the car with us. We have to put Pussy's seatbelt on and make sure he is comfy, although that is usually the last we hear of PussyCat until we get home, and have to go through the production of getting Pussy Cat out of the car.
Eddie has been quite a long term thing too here so we are used to it, although it tends to freak out visitors if he mentions him

My DD had imaginary cats and dogs who used to come everywhere with us. She used to walk around the shops holding their imaginary leads

My DS1 had an imaginary friend that was a little bee. DS1 told me once that his little bee left him a yellow highlighter pen and he thought it was amazing. I have no idea where it came from and to this day, neither does DS1 (who is now almost 17).

One day when DS1 was about 6 he told me that his little bee had to fly away to be with his family and he was never seen again.

DD2 had a friend called Anna for years who went everywhere we did and sometimes Anna had a friend called kate.

When I did the grocery shopping I used to have to buy food for Anna and pack it into her bag.

Any time she got into trouble Anna had to get the same treatment.

Eventually grew out of the friendship but I still remind her about them from time to time to tease her

DD1 was only child for 3.5years and she had an imaginary friend, two actually.
One named Hona (like Mona but with H) and Claire.
I went and saw a medium who told me these were spirits, guiding her.

I never worried about it again.

Don't know if I should admit this, but I used to have an imaginary friend 'Charlie'. I don't remember much about it but I think we used to play together. I think I just eventually grew out of it as I made some 'real' friends...

My freinds little girl Ella (3.5yrs) has an imaginary friend called Ella she has pink hair and loves dancing we hear an awful lot about "Ella" its kind of sad really she pushes her on the swing and has tea parties with her....but the real Ella doesnt have any friends her own age lucky she has a baby brother now, for ages she was going to be an only child. She plays a lot with my DD now too, now Freya can get around they have lots of fun

Could be! Most mediums begin life by seeing people that no-one else can.

He also has 'Pussy Cat' who comes in the car with us. We have to put Pussy's seatbelt on and make sure he is comfy, although that is usually the last we hear of PussyCat until we get home, and have to go through the production of getting Pussy Cat out of the car.
That's almost exactly what we've got with a penguin (from the TV animation - Lost and Found). I just don't do the seatbelt, but I have to open up the other door and let penguin in before DS will get in his carseat.

my ds has a friend called boo boo. Sometimes boo boo is a boy, sometimes boo boo is a girl and sometimes even a dog. We do take boo boo to the shops and we have to do his seatbelt up and open the door etc for boo boo

ds and boo boo have arguments over toys and pushing and shoving lol.. its so cute

I have often wondered if boo boo is a spirit that ds can see, but not sure how I feel about that one
