    Common cold and kinder

This is probably a difficult question to answer but DD has just got a cold thanks to her younger sister. Today is Monday, she has kinder on Friday morning. It is only her 3rd week so really want to send her because it is the first week of all kids being there (the first 2 weeks were just 1 hr with only half the group) and still a shortened session (2.5hrs instead of 3hrs). When do you send and when don't you send to kinder?

I'm thinking if nose is still really runny I will need to keep her home but it will be the fifth day into the cold hopefully will be over the worst.

She should be ok by Friday. I don't have a problem with kids going to Kinder with a cold, if they've got a temp or aches and pains it's best to keep them home.

It's the green gunky nose you need to worry about, otherwise she should be fine by day five to go to kinder.

Yeah, I'd send her if it's just a bit of a cold. If it gets worse (like Tinks described) then I'd keep her home.
