Keep your fingers crossed for us....

So we sold our house on Monday. We got a price that was a bit higher than we thought we would so were wrapped. It also seemed like great timing because this rental property we've been keeping our eye on was still available. So we agreed to a 30 day settlement.

Put in our application for the rental yesterday. All was good until I got a call this morning checking that we were still interested. Apparently they've got 3 apps so now the owners are deciding who they like better...

I so hope we get this place. I fell in love with it a few weeks ago and can see exactly how our furniture will fit, how another baby will fit into our family there etc etc. It meets all of our criteria and is in a great area, right where we need to be. It all just felt right from the minute I saw it. And then when we got the offer prior to Auction I just thought it has to be... But now it's looking a bit shaky...

And if we don't get it I have no idea what we will do. There is absolutely nothing available in our area that suits our needs and we have to be out in 3 weeks! Freaking out a little here, so please keep everything crossed that we will get it.

Sending you lots of good house vibes!!! I know exactly how you feel. I have a little song i sing when i need house vibes, mine doesn't seem to work very well though so i won't share! I also tell myself when we don't get it that it obviously wasn't the right house for us and that there is probably broken pipes or its incredibly damp

The right house is going to find us very soon!

Thanks lovelies! All that crossing must've worked cos I got a phone call not long ago saying that we got the house

I'm so excited, we'll have a proper house, all on one level with a playroom and a backyard? DS won't know himself, either will we for that matter.

Now to start packing, I think we'll move in two weeks (gulp)
