    Zoom teeth whitening and breastfeeding

    Ok
i am desperate to get my teeth whitened- i got some money to get them done but when i looked up on their websites they said it is not recommended if you are breastfeeding

I am still breastfeeding my toddler and not intending to stop until he is ready- so why is it not recommended?
He can go quite a few hours in between feeds but still demand fed
What is so bad when the whiten you teeth with the light that they dont recommend it?
i have tried to find info on the net but to no avail. Does anyone know??
    TIA

I was about to start treatment of whitening and veneers but stopped as I fell pregnant with DS2. The whitening chemical can leech into your gums and I guess we dont know what can happen to bubs when passed through the breastmilk. Maybe just wait till Bubs has finished feeding and then go for it! I would steer clear of it
