    Burning feet?

    Argh

It feels like they are on fire! For 2 days now. I noticed this morning that my feet/fac seem puffy. Is this related?

Might want to keep an eye on that babe, sounds like a few warning signs for pre-eclampsia, maybe check your blood pressure? Not sure, hope it eases up.

The swelling coming on suddenly could be a problem, so if you feel odd in any other way go to the dr asap. I don't remember ever having burning feet, but I guess they did feel stretched and kind of hot because they were so stretched.

I got bad burning in my feet from about 24 weeks onwards, not much swelling but if I wore shoes they would swell up soo fast! I was stuck wearing thongs for pretty much my whole pregnancy!!!

Watch the swelling but just try to keep off your feet and ice packs wrapped helps with the burning

a cool bucket of water might help as well, it's a horrible feeling, just keep an eye on it though cos like the others said it's a sign of PE

Yes mine get a burning sensation when they are very swollen, i think its the skin being so stretched.

Keep an eye on PE signs though.

ahhh yep, i remember this feeling. My feet we on fire for weeks at the end of the last pregnancy. I found raising them right up when sitting helped and putting ice packs on them. I feel for you, its not a very nice feeling. Oedema during pregnancy is quite common and most woman experience some kind of swelling during pregnancy. Your doctor might just want to keep a closer eye on you and your BP, urine etc. Unfortunanlty (sp?) I ended up with severe PE at 38+4 and was induced. I was swelling badly from about 34 weeks though.

    Still burning!

The Dr just looked at me weird when I said they were burning and shrugged. But my BP was high, mild oedema and protein in my urine. And headache. He sent me for bloods and monitoring. But the BP went down, they were going to send me home after only taking it once but I inisted they take it another time just for my peace of mind. After mersyndol and a sleep its still there. And they didnt tell me any results for the bloods.

I hope they keep a closer eye on you now A. PE can creep up quite quickly and needs taking care of immediately (personal experience here). I'd phone and ask for the blood results and also what it will mean for you. Take care hun and rest up as much as you can xxx

They should let you know your blood results if the ob thinks they are a concern, especially since you have protein in your urine. Have they asked you to have more regular checks? As soon as I was a high PE risk I was on twice weekly checks.

Nope, just weekly visits still. I can go to work and check my blood results on the computer if I want. But I figured if something was wrong they would have called me
