Birth stones?

Can someone tell me what Decembers birth stone is? I always give conflicting info between blue topaz and turquoise.
January is garnet, yes?

January is definitely garnet (It's my birthstone too!) There are 'new' birthstones and older, 'true' ones. I think it depends on if you prefer the true ones or these newer ones. I was peeved because I wanted to get a birthstone for each of the kids for my pandora necklace and the one for September they have listed as 'coral' but that's crap and because I prefer the true ones so I had to go with starsigns instead. According to my list that I always refer to, December is turquoise.

it's confusing huh?
on my travels i have also discovered the people born in march's birthstone is bloodstone... when i always thought it was aquamarine. Mum has a ring made up of all our birthstones and in it i'm aquamarine! Won't tell her i don't think
