Ear Piercing babies?

I have been looking for places that will pierce babies ears. So far it has been very difficult to find somewhere to do it.

I get told,
Not till they are school age.
5 and over.
1 and over.
It depends on their ears (okay this one I understand)
We only have one gun so no we wont do a baby.
My parents pierced my ears when I was 3months old. We did Amelia's while in Vegas when she was 3.5months with 1 gun.
I have even been told I am cruel for wanting to get them pierced at this age.

Was wondering what some of your opinions on this subject are. Good experiences, bad, the lot.
