<ADVICE> Not a tissue in the pocket...

    But an entire book.
My DH, bless his SAHD socks, washed my navy blue work uniform with a small text book in the pocket.
The book is an issue in itself, I use it every day, but the navy blue uniform looks more like stonewash, like its had a wrestle with an army of washing machine tissues...

    Help...

What can I do to make it wearable again.

He's already done two extra hot water washes to no avail.

Dry it and vacuum Tumble dryer will get a fair bit out in the lint.

The only thing I can suggest is wrapping very sticky sticky tape around your hand with the sticky side out, and running it over the uniform to remove as much of the big bits as possible, then try re-washing. How frustrating though!! Good luck!

Alrighty, thanks ladies, working tomorrow so off to the clothesline, will put it in the dryer, then look for sme hand wrapping sticky tape.
The worrying thing is that it almost look like it has worked its way into the material. That, and that I only have one uniform.
I guess if an uber linty uniform is my biggest problem today I have a blessed existence.

what about in the dryer with something like a tennis ball to belt some of the lint out of it?

Not sure if we have a tennis ball. But if the non tennis ball option and the sticky tape hand fail, it'll be off to the shop for one in the morning. I don't start til 3pm

Wash it on a delicate wash -tends to work better than the heavy duty (on the tissues at least). I'd give it a few washes before you dry it...
