Newbie calling for chart stalkers/chart experts....your comments please....?

339ff4 Ovulation Charts

So here is my first working chart and OMG I am now at CD73 and getting very depressed
(I also entered some old data from previous cycles since implanon removal (after 9 years). Worried they were annovualtory too - both looong (44 and 45 days)....)

From my newbie interpretation, my temps are looking promising but I hope this is not a false 'O' - many signs of o but nothing seems to match up - plus, before I starting temping or using OPK, I was 'sure' that I o'ed around CD30

I reckon that I had possible positive OPK on CD68 but the test line was only half darker than the control (if that makes sense).....

Anyway - I had a blood test CD24 (BFN) and Ultrasound CD25 - nothing abnormal (phew I think) and signs of a dominant follicle (which is good I think).

So - super keen to hear anyone comments about the chart - your comments will certainly be helpful.....

I think youre on the right track with your chart. FF has placed dotted cross hairs because you reported fertile CM after O - but I have learned after this happened to me this cycle that it is common and as long as you have your clear thermal shift and +OPK thats all that matters (you could keep BDing on those days as well just to cover yourself though in case your temp taking isnt 100% accurate). OPK's are often only 1/2 positive from my experience. Check out this site: PeeOnAStick.com - on this site she says that as long as at least half of the OPK is as dark or darker than the control line then its +. Ive peed on probably a hundred OPKs in my TTC odyssey and ive only gotten a handful of OPKs where the whole line was equal to or darker than the control line.

Good luck! I too have a history of super long cycles, which are only just starting to sort out after taking about 6 different vitamins a day and a disgusting herbal mixture prescribed by a naturopath.

thanks for your reply and information. I am just about to update the chart because the OPK test line only had a minor dark outline, definately not half darker - so, FF adjusts O day to CD66....anyway - I am actually looking forward to getting AF now (believe it or not) because at least that might help confirm 'O'....

I really hate this - I was actually most confused when I got a clear ultrasound the other day - now I am left wondering what other mystery problem I have given the looooooooooooooong cycle....

Hey everyone - I would really love some more replies in relation to my chart - desparate for stalkers please - all comments welcome.

FF has gone wiht a possible O CD66. I think the dip in temp could be an error which means that CD68 ish, CD71 or CD might be options....what does anyone else reckon? I was thinking the later days where I missed OPK's (where I might have missed the surge) otherwise if CD 66 is right then I missed getting a positive OPK :ugh: ....

this is my first chart temping and if I don't get AF soon I migh just go insane!!!

Its possible that you might have O'd between cd 71 and 73 because you had EWCM and your temps started rising to a higher level than all of your previous ones. I have learned the hard way that WHENEVER you see fertile CM do the BD even if FF has told you you have O'd already because it is just going by your past temps and cant predict what the future ones will be after O - it might just assume that you have low post O temps when in fact once you O your temps go a lot higher than your pre O temps. Does that make sense? Dont place too much trust in FF, just keep BD every few days throughout your entire cycle, and possibly every day that you see fertile CM.

I'd say O was closer to CD72 - there was a clear shift from EWCM to S and a temp rise.

Have you seen a doctor or naturopath about your long cycles? Have you had any blood tests to look for hormone levels or anything to investigate possible PCOS? Mind you, PCOS charts are normally all over the place. Yours has a consistency that I can see.

A good acupuncurist can help with hormone disturbances.

I have had blood test (only one) and ultrasound due to suspected PCOS - I fit many symptoms but blood and ultrasound are clear - I think that doctors put it down to getting back into a proper cycle post 9 years implanon wiht no AF...but this is frustrating being dismissed and told to be patient....

I have just started looking into naturopaths and someone only just suggested to me the other day about acupunture - can you tell me any more about it as I am curious - don't really know anyone who has even had it done before.....?

Also, update on my chart - if we agree with FF for O CD66 then it is now flagging possible triphasic pattern - but if that were right BD timing is not right....

SOoooooo - if I discard temp on CD74 - then it puts me 7DPO Oing on CD71 - and I think I might go with this .....my rationale -
I didn't OPK and I didn't maybe baby on this day (duh if only I knew....). Maybebaby ferning a week before and a few days after could be consistent. No OPK on this day would have meant I missed the surge.

more pre o temps below the new coverline,
temp dip today - mid luteal (FX implantation dip)


I guess that the next week will be telling....
now I am trying to resist the urge to POAS because I don't want to let myself think it is even possible this time to get a BFP when truely I would just be happy to have O'ed and have this loooooong cycle over and done with.... and hoping that this might be the last 'funny' one and back to something more regular....

anyway - would love to keep hearing from any more interested stalkers out there....or at least be my lifeline to reality in this crazy and annoying cycle...
