Microwave Recommendations - brands and also do any fit square plates and still spin?

Our microwave is dying... we have noticed that it has started interferring with the baby monitors when runs so need to get out and get a newbie.

But we have M&W square dinner sets and would love it if there is a microwave if these can fit into.

But also looking at what brands can you recommend?

We have an LG Orbit. We got it when we moved in together 8 years ago and it's still going strong. It is round on the inside Square plates are no prob.

Just checked the LG website and they still make them.

Well that is pretty cool Kim, I didn't know that you could get them like that, I will keep an eye out for them when I am hunting

Oh I have square plates that won't spin in the micro either! Very annoying!

DH just wondered what I was doing when I got up and microwaved a plate I had one of BILs square plates here so was able to test for you. We have a LG with a round cavity and the plate didnt spin...doesnt say what size it is so sorry not much help.
I do love the round cavity for ease of cleaning.
Just take a plate with you to test I did check if you could see if you would be able to tell if it wasnt turned on and you would.

Oh YES! That is exactly what mine does!! Sometimes it even makes the glass tray thingy come off it's spinner thingy haha, love my technical terms!
