    Clingy..I can't even pee lol

Dd has gotten to the stage of unless she's asleep I can't put her down AT ALL! It's driving me insane because as the title suggests, I can't even put her down long enough to go to the toilet.
I have asked day care how she is when she's there and apparently she's fine with being left to play?
Is this a stage they go through, (she's 8 months but ds never did this) or is she bored and wants attention?

It sounds like she might be having separation anxiety from you, which would explain why she's not clingy with other people? My DD goes through phases where she is very clingy to me and it usually passes after a time.

yup, sounds like a stage, DS has just been through one too, and even now, I normally have at least one child hanging off my trousers as I try to wee! Good job I don't suffer from stage fright lol. It does pass. I think DS has been more clingy than DD was.

Oh my, I remember that stage all to well! So huge DD went through this from about 7 months- 13 months, really clingy, no one except mum could do anything right and I was OVER it Rest assure hun, it will pass but it definately sounds like separation anxiety A sling helps a lot at that stage.

Yep! DD did it as well, dead on 8 months! lasted about 3 weeks or so and then she got over it again. She is just on 11 months now and i have noticed that she is doing it again...just a stage and like all of them, they do pass (thanks goodness!)
