urinary tract infection in 3 month old.

ok so DS has had a high temp of around 38.8 since yesterday afternoon. No other symptoms apart from smelly wee's. Took him to doc's today and he diagnosed a UTI, prescribed anti-biotics and to give him panadol every 5 hours (which i have been doing anyway to keep temp down). How can i make him comfortable in the meantime? I can see that it hurts him to wee

Also he hasn't pooe'd since yesterday morning (normally a once/twice a day pooper). Doc didn't really explain much about it. I should of asked more questions. Any advice would be great.
