Stabbing pain

for the last ten minutes I've been getting a stabbing pain on the left hand side of my belly.

My ticker says how far I am now, is this normal?
I can't remember and it's freaking me out, it's like a short stab, hurts enough to take my breath away and then I brace for it again, it's not BH.... Too early and my BH rumbled my whole belly like labour this is a pain, not cramps

Help?

Could it be bubs moving around that side. I no I got stabbing pains but as always if your worried make sure you get it checked. Can't believe your 17 weeks already. That's gone so fast

Almost 18wks already! wow thats gone so fast.

I know, it's amazing how fast pregnancy goes... thanks it's distracting and painful, I'll see if it gets any worse but see my gp tomorrow

Ligament pains?

I remember I had a similar sharp pain when I was 11 weeks but it was more localized near my left ovary, it lasted for 18 hours and after that I was left with a kind of burning pain in that side. After running an ultrasound my Dr said that a folicule had ruptured to the outside and that my baby girl was fine (two years old now). I did not understand very well but apparently our ovaries are still producing folicules during pregnancy. I am not sure if that could be your case but that is what happened to me.
