Today I'm glad I did housework because...

...today (okay, Saturday), the Man's rellies from NSW arrived, and I completely forgot. I also completely forgot to tell him they were coming, and they called on Wednesday!

But, before they knocked on the door, I had managed to clean the toilet, and vac the whole house. I also managed to have a shower, do my makeup, get dressed, and the kids had had lunch, and were dressed. The only things, there were two baskets of washing to be folded (took them to the bedroom!) and a huge mountain of dishes to wash, which I very quickly washed while the Man took them to work to show them our workshop (I also straightened the lounge, and cleared the bench again which was starting to disappear under drawings). I was just finishing the last pot when they returned, and started making banana cake, the aroma of which quickly filled the house! Yay me!
