    Camping spots - Southwest WA

Can anyone recommend some good ones?
DH would like somewhere lush and green...
Something a bit out of the way, but not tooooo far from Perth. Basic ammenities like toilets, water, bbqs, but fine if there's no power.
    TIA

I love camping at Coalmine Beach just outside of Walpole. It is leafy & green and you can have fires in winter and they are situated on an estuary with a little beach so good for paddling kids. Biblumen Track runs through the campground so you can do little walks if A & M are up to it. Its 6 hours from Perth though, so maybe too far.

If you want somewhere not tooooo far from Perth, there is always Dwellingup. About 1.5hrs from Perth, campground set in the middle of a jarrah forrest, nice little town with a few cafes and a river. Can recommend the cidery for a picnic and a glass of something sold.

HTH, have a great trip wherever you end up!

Augusta. I think it's about for hours from Perth. Very lush and green and cool!

We just got home from a weekend at molloy caravan park, it's not flash but it's a beautiful spot on the river, alexander bridge is a nice spot too, preverly park in Margaret river is another good place. I'll think some more

Hey, I have friends who rent out their holiday house on Molloy Island? I have info if keen. Molloy Island is near Augusta, I haven't been there, but I will get there soon!
